What is Japan Social Dance Theater (JSDT)?

Japan Social Dance Theater (JSDT) is an official performance team of Japan Social Dance Club (JSDC). We perform at places like parties, events, and on cruise ship, as well as on TV. Our wide range of dance styles include theater dance, swing, mambo, American style ballroom dance, Argentine tango, hastle, tap, jazz, hiphop, and contemporary.

The name comes from reputable American Ballroom Theater, where our president Yoshi Yano used to be an active member. We incorporate new genres and styles in our performance as well as more traditional styles such as social dance, Argentine tango, and swing.
